We’re excited to announce the Cal City 2026 Quarterly Community Clean-Ups! Volunteers of all ages are invited to join REACH and partners to help keep Cal City clean, green, and beautiful.

You can:

• Join REACH and partner organizations in cleaning designated areas around the city
• OR select a spot that matters most to you—your neighborhood, a favorite block, or local park

Meet at the California City Chamber of Commerce to pick up supplies and enjoy light refreshments before heading out. After the clean-up, please return to the Chamber to return supplies, take a group photo, and enjoy additional light refreshments to celebrate our efforts together.  

Winter Toy Wonderland & Holiday Parade – Vendor Information

Join us for a magical weekend at the Winter Toy Wonderland & Holiday Parade, happening December 5–7! This festive community event will feature holiday activities, family fun, music, food, vendors, and the annual parade.

We are now accepting applications for vendors, food trucks, local businesses, crafters, and community organizations interested in participating.

Join us for an interactive, hands-on composting workshop! Learn how to make and use compost tea, explore fun composting and planting activities for kids, and discover simple ways to enrich your soil and reduce waste at home.

Pickling Class – Farm Fresh & Homemade!

Learn the art of pickling and enjoy delicious, homemade flavors in your own kitchen! Using farm fresh veggies, we’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of creating tasty, pickled creations.

✨ The first 10 participants will have the chance to get hands-on and take their very own jars of pickled veggies home!

📍 Class is FREE – don’t miss this fun and flavorful experience!

 🚒 Homeschool Fire Station Field Trip! 🔥

Join us for an exciting homeschool field trip to the Cal City Fire Department! Kids will get a behind-the-scenes tour, meet real firefighters, explore fire trucks, and learn important fire safety tips. This is a fun and educational experience for homeschool families of all ages!

Come join us plant a beautiful mini fruit orchard in our community garden on February 22nd, located in Central Park behind the Senior Center. Bring your family and friends!

 Join REACH and I Love Cal City for a community clean-up day! Trash pickers, gloves, and light refreshments will be served. Register HERE! 

Help us make California City greener and healthier! Join us on January 25th for a community tree planting day. We’ll be planting trees to promote sustainability, improve air quality, and beautify our city. Everyone is welcome to participate—bring your family, friends, and a passion for making a positive impact!
